Pretty sure @najer is laughing at us silly colonists. He feeds way more than I ever imagined would be safe.

No I don't laugh, as stated it is the bottom of the food chain and is beneficial to all tanks as are pod additions.
The large additions in the puddle serve a few purposes, feeding nps being one of them.
Because there is no mechanical filtration virtually non is wasted.
I use 500 ml a week between the two tanks and my lfs sells 250, 500, 1000 and 2000 ml bottles and it is bottled on a Friday ready for the weekend.
It does settle so needs shaking at least once a day even if you don't use it everyday and needs to be kept in the fridge, I would keep it for 4 or 5 weeks quite happily.

Love the new girlie btw! :)

@sebaseau sorry, I had my hands full for a bit and I was starving too. I wanted to respond. I have been reading and watching for a few years. I have always said no. Pretty much like the pipefish. I was hopeful her previous tanks being VERY small would lend to her comfort in mine. I was also betting she would be likely to eat any of my foods if she ever would take frozen or pellets. I have always had small, delicate fish. With the upcoming Miracle Tank, I was confident she would be able to spend her entire life in there. Her size and sunken tummy pushed me to do it. The new tank will have ample pods for her.
Thanks for that recomforting message , I want to hug you. I'm glad that little fella has such a great human friend. :)
