Carbon runs 24/7 lol I have a kenya leather forest. I’m mostly confident that the Palys I have aren’t toxic (I researched a lot and made a thread about it a long time ago when I found out Palytoxin was a thing!) but definitely wearing gloves anyway! You could try wear gloves and run carbon. This is so smart! Growing up fishing for crappies in Lake Wylie with my Paw Paw, it seemed inherently obvious to me that fish like shelter. The best places to find them were around fallen trees and underneath boat docks..fish want something between them and the light, or potential predators. My shrimp and all my fish love to hang out underneath my scape, and don’t spend much time on the side that isn’t shaded.Trying to plan the new tank scape with options for my little guys to feel safe.
Andrew can barely control himself! Thank you!Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Katrina! Excited to hear they told you about your new tank! I hope you and your family enjoy it for many years to come.
Love,
Chris
Yea, here it is again.Did you post a pic of your blue hornet colony yet ?
I think they are sexyYea, here it is again.
I don’t think I can add any more fish@Magellan if you have an open water fish it will pull more fish into the open areas of your tank
I wouldn’t say that they hide, just prefer the bottom to the top. The flow is also less underneath as well. There is one “hider” at the moment (my fire shrimp) but I just added him about a week ago. He’s spent the entirety of his time perched on one of my returns in the top corner, even when he eats it’s just to snag food that floats nearby. Nothing messes with him, he’s just a coward ;HilariousNone of my little guys hide.
that mushroom in the background is FIRE!! Love the clean sandbed tooOne of Andrew's big ole snails.
That mushroom split within a few days of adding it. He said he'll try to frag it for ya.I don’t think I can add any more fish

also Fiji Girl was really active today and ate in a normal fashion at the morning and evening feedings. Any idea how well the wound will heal? Will she regrow the scales?

That would be amazing! I’ve got 2 different shrooms, one has already split and fully grown out, the other is in the process of splitting (already grew the second mouth). But would love to do a frag swap, it would be my first one lolThat mushroom split within a few days of adding it. He said he'll try to frag it for ya.
Put some corals inside the net and wait patientlySo, I have a butterflyfish to catch... nipping at acans, scolys and trachys. This ought to be fun.
Red light to find it than hit with a Brite white scoop out if it's not in the rock. The white should stun it like a deer.Might try while it's sleeping... I got a red lighter around here somewhere
