I've never heard of cheetahs in Asia, but lions yes technically there are.
The last 60 Asian cheetahs are in Iran, thier soccer team featured them on tee shirts…
India has the last Asian Lions but their cheetahs were hunted out, Iran proposed a cat swap, but India refused
…yes, if you see a large spotted cat in Arizona or Mexico it’s a Jaguar…about 1K left in Mexico, USA has 1
….fun facts to know and tell LOL

My biggest pet peeve in this hobby is the dumb names created to jack up prices.

"This banana superman holy grail torch is extremely rare. $4000 per head. It is so rare that every coral wholesaler in the world has them shipped from Indo twice a week. Oh wait, I think I see a hint of a third color. It is a rainbow. $5000 per head."

So many of these corals people name you would assume have been aquacultured for generations in captivity, when in reality they were harvested from the wild with thousands of their cousins.

As a parent, top pet peeve is definitely being judged by my kids’ behavior, whether perceived as “good” or “bad”. I try to raise my kids to be kind, not to please random strangers with great manners ;)

Welcome and hope you’ll start a build thread soon!

I only judge parents when their children are misbehaving in public and they do nothing to correct that bad behavior. ;) Just an example. My daughter who is a server had child push his dish off the table onto the floor and looked at her expecting my Daughter to pick it up. The mother just watched and said nothing. She got judged and the dish was left on the floor.

Welcome

As for pet peeves, in my area there are two common mispronunciations that make my skin crawl for some reason:

Pronouncing wolf as "Woof", and old as "owed"
I've never heard old as owed where I'm from, but wolf as woof is rather common unfortunately. It's actually in some movies, it bugs me every time, cause someone had to pronounce it like that on purpose multiple times, they can't blame a slip of the tongue. (still watch the movie/s though lol)

Blessings :)

Reminds me of the days I worked at the zoo. These poor birds had the same problem.
