Good evening all!

What are your biggest pet peeves? (They do not have to be aquarium related).

  1. Lions live in the desert or savannah; they DO NOT live in the jungle.
  2. Having wet hair outside may weaken your immune response due to your body trying harder to keep you warm, but it DOES NOT give you a cold on its own.
  3. There is no R in Washington, and there's no T at the end of ACROSS
  4. (I have one more but I'm not sure how it will be received, us ladies use this excuse a lot and I don't want to blow anyone's cover :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:) Let me know if y'all wanna try it!
Everyone, share those pet peeves, let's have some fun!

Blessings :)

1.Veterans Day. As a veteran we should be the ones getting a day off.

2. We turned pork into the other white meat. If you have a chance to have a heritage breed pig, unbelievable compared to the garbage in the stores today.

Cooking videos where the person is wearing those black gloves. Aren't you cooking for yourself at home? Why do you need gloves? For reefing videos, my pet peeve is when I'm trying to find some info on any random thing and I watch somebody's content only to find out they've been in the hobby for a year or less. I just can't imagine giving out advice like that with so little experience.

Absolutely, there should be no question.

Mad props to anyone who has sworn an oath to serve our great nation. Anyone who has taken that oath has essentially signed a blank check payable to our country for the amount of 'up to and including my life'. That's serious honor, and ought to be respected. (I know that's a quote for somewhere, credit to whoever let me paraphrase them :) )

I think every day should be veterans' day. Anything for our great warriors.

Blessings :)

How amazing it is that people act as experts with almost no experience. To offer different ideas and foster debate is one thing, but to act as if one's word is the only way, the only answer, its unfortunate. It permeates every aspect of life now.

I believe everyone should have as much information as possible from many sources to make informed decisions.

Blessings :)

^Absolutely! Thank you for your service!

I like to cook, and the pork we have today is like 100% better than the silly, bone-riddled, 1/4" thin chops my mother severed us in the late 70's/early 80's. Pork is so, so much better now :)

Your mother must have shopped at the same store as mine did in the 70's!

Basically you'd um hate to uh talk to me um lol
lol, pet peeves don't mean hate guys. Thanks for engaging the thread :)

Everybody here has at least one, whether they say it or not. There's something for everyone. There's no hate here, I have no intention to start fights. This is meant to be fun. If I wanted hate and squabbling, I'd go on pretty much any other social media sight lol. I understand how easy it is to misinterpret messages though without a face and tone telling you it's in jest. For those who are frazzled, simmer down, I mean no harm.

Blessings :)

No, no, and maybe I was a little harsh with my last post.

EDIT ^Sorry, maybe that was not for me lol!

One of my biggest ones was when I had a bearded dragon, people would come over and say "thats a cool toad"
Please show me the resemblance

Ha, that's a good one. I can almost see it from the front, but only cause I'm a National Geographic geek! Is he eating clover though? Never seen that before.
