Well, there's your algea eaters.I breed mollies so have lots
I have never had any luck acclimating them over to saltwater over a period of time. I'm like 7/7 living when just dump and pray. I think no acclamation is the way to go personally.

I have 3 springeri’s in my DT also, because they’re gorgeous little accent fish, and one of the only peaceful damsels. I figure any pest control is a bonus!I have one in every tank. . I found myself with flatworms in the frag tank and springari in there, Was not doing anything about it. Swapped it out with the one from the display and that thing Eats!!
My permanent residence, as I said are a springari and lawn mower blenny.
i will keep Melanurus wrasse if i have big tank 125 gallon as you have, it's agrasively controlling the pest within the tank.Would a yellow corris work? Or to big for tank size. I have a 125 gallon as mentioned Once it gets larger
I think it depends on the individual fish. I’ve never owned a six-line, but I have read MANY owners who said that they were great…until they weren’t.Rogue emerald crabs. Mean angry six.line wrasses. Lol. To each their own.
Imo six lines just like damsels get a bad rap from newcomers.
They are both a community fish imo. Lol.

They have such a cool little man syndrome, in a tiny, spikey, grumpy looking fishI have 3 springeri’s in my DT also, because they’re gorgeous little accent fish, and one of the only peaceful damsels. I figure any pest control is a bonus!
Totally agree! We call our three The Blue Man Group. They have such a cool little man syndrome, in a tiny, spikey, grumpy looking fish
Do they hang out together? What size tank are they in? I wouldn't mind having another one or two in my 180.Totally agree! We call our three The Blue Man Group.
Sadly, no. They all do their own thing. They’re in an 80 gallon lagoon style (see my build thread for pics).Do they hang out together? What size tank are they in? I wouldn't mind having another one or two in my 180.
I acclimated my first pair over the course of a hour. They did greatWell, there's your algea eaters.

Lots of people are suggesting springeri’s and my LFS sells them. So maybe will try them. Any tips or things I need to know about them?I have 3 springeri’s in my DT also, because they’re gorgeous little accent fish, and one of the only peaceful damsels. I figure any pest control is a bonus!
Yeah I have heard the same which is why I am probably gonna avoid them. In the meantime at least.I think it depends on the individual fish. I’ve never owned a six-line, but I have read MANY owners who said that they were great…until they weren’t.
Had a royal gramma never saw her. Always hiding. Can’t be more shy then she wasI love my pink streaked, but it took me almost a full year to source one locally and it's by far the most timid fish I've ever owned. I barely see the thing.
Not too much, they're pretty easy fish to keep. They will be happy in singles, pairs, or small groups, but they don't school. Post a pic if you end up getting one!Lots of people are suggesting springeri’s and my LFS sells them. So maybe will try them. Any tips or things I need to know about them?
