I just set up an auto water change. I used a jebao dose pump and ran a test and worked fine. Has anyone had any issues doing anything like this? I have to have one of the lines going in the the sump. Can this cause a siphon? I have the dosing pump higher than the sump. Any advice or suggestions?

You’ll need to be sure that what it takes out is what is going back in. There can be variance in dosing larger quantity, but, this doser will work.
Any variance would serve to unstabilze the chemistry.
, it the same as what I do for normal water changes.

Best method would be to set your intake slightly above ato level (very slight as in removing a cup of water triggers it). Pump in new water first to raise the water level then pump out twice as much water (if the pumps speeds are exactly the same(they are not) you should be sucking air half the time)
