I wasn’t aware of that until I just saw it happen…hopefully I can get him out of the tank Tomm before he does too much damage

Tank looks pretty young but hard to tell with the blues. May cause slow growth.

I do think it looks like fish bite marks to me, blenny kiss instead of a tang I guess :)

Tailspots have been pretty safe in my experience.

Good to know maybe I’ll see if I can switch out the bicolor to a tailspot cuz I love the personality on blennys

I may have just figured out my issue. I have a bicolor blenny who I just witnessed taking some chunks out of the frag I posted above

Yes, okay.
I'm not crazy then, lol.
You know what to do.

Algae blennies are not pretty but they have a lot of personality.

LOL, you literally said you didn't think it's bite marks and now you do?
LOL

Well that is pretty rude but you can see my post #8 - as in not bite marks from aefw but possibly a FISH.

"I am not sure they are bite marks unless a Tang gave it a kiss :)"

I suppose a blenny kiss works too.

Sorry, it was rude. I should have let it go.

The comment sounded like you dismissed the idea and added a tang and a smiley face like it was a dumb idea.

If the OP didn't actually see the blenny bite it he could have easily dismissed the notion also and still might be wondering.

Anyway, please except my apologies.
I will try not to do it again.

I’m fairly new to acros, and never had any problems. And never really dipped my lps zoas even birds nest or stylos.

I just searched for eggs and didn’t see any.
I may go tomorrow and get a dip to dip these and have on hand. Is there any way of them coming back from this.
aw man you have to dip. i have to many friends that now have bristleworms, or little green worms, or aiptasia, or flatworms, all because they didnt dip. GOTS to dip. i really like the triple fish REVIVE dip. its an all natural pine oil that critters hate, but corals tolerate.

On a side note, Euphyllia and acros are very senstive to shipping. if it gets too hot or too cold or in the bag too long they are known to die during shipment.
