So I went to wwc they had a 3 for $30 deal on acros. I got them home about 3pm est and put em on my frag rack. It’s 8pm est and this is what one of them looks like. The 2nd one looks bad as well and the 3rd looks fine. Anything that could be causing such fast deterioration?

Temp is 78
Alk is 7.1
Calcium is 410
Ph 8.2
Nitrate 10
Phosphate .06

I didn’t post a pic in the tank cuz it’s hard to see with a phone blue light etc

You just bought them?
Looks like bite marks. Probably you didn't notice when you bought them?

It is either your tank or the corals. To get help in your tank you need to post details about the setup. To reduce chances of pests coming in in coral you should have some sort of dipping protocol. For Acro I recommend KCl---very cheap, effective, and gentle on the coral.

Did you dip them in anything?
I’m fairly new to acros, and never had any problems. And never really dipped my lps zoas even birds nest or stylos.

I just searched for eggs and didn’t see any.
I may go tomorrow and get a dip to dip these and have on hand. Is there any way of them coming back from this.

What kind of details?
-20g Nuvo all in one.
- Have 2 ai primes set up to give them about 200 par where they have been set up currently (using photon app)
-weekly water changes. Has an auto top off so salinity should be solid.
Set up 6 months ish.
I’m fairly experienced with lps, and zoas, and specific sps like stylos and birdsnest.

I am not sure they are bite marks unless a Tang gave it a kiss :)

I would always dip your corals though, I had acro eating flatworms come in from a vender here. You never know and all it takes is one.

What are your water parameters and have you done an ICP test recently?

I have never done one. The parameters I have are in the first post. I did forget to include salinity which I keep at 35
Tank parameters don't look too problematic---alk may be a little low and nitrates a little high. Maybe your tank is not stable enough given its age. For acros to degrade that quickly, however, does suggest a water quality issue. You should adopt some sort of dipping regime to reduce the numbers of factors that need to be considered. Need to narrow down the universe of issues.
