I guess I should go back a bit and tell you little about myself... I've always had an interest in reef tanks ever since a small little LFS in Youngstown that had a nice well populated show tank. Looking back now I guess there tank was not in the best shape but it looked cool to me and got me thinking about a reef tank.. it was a few year later that being a super newbie I bought a 30G cube with a HTB u tube overflow and a bioballs sump. I had some success with it but realized I could have done things better. some changes I life and I had to give it up. So here I am about ten years later giving it another round. This time I'm trying to do it the best possible even if I can't get it up and running as fast as I would like due to buying stuff when I have the extra funds

All assembled. Now for a lot of filling and sanding. Im going to paint the inside white and the outside a satin black. Anyone who has any ideas on how to get a nice finish please chime in. I have never done this so I could use some help.

Super clean job. What I did was sand and sand then I sanded some more lol till it was almost sanded down lol. I started a 120grit and made it up to 400 grit. Then I stained it. This way is what I found for it not to have the fuzzy wood come up. I think they call it burr?

I love my 60 cube.
