Some pics of the upper trim. Maybe kinda hard to see but the tank is recessed to hide the lower rim and the stand is a bit wider than the paint and so I used some trim pieces to close it out

Running this thing with a mag 7 pump because that's what I have ... it's a bit loud... any suggestions on a good quiet pump?

Very nice and trim looks and finishes it off nicely. As for a pump. I'm running a Vectra M1 on mine. And I have the exact same tank.

Looks great! I wish I had those skills on the stand myself, that was more expensive than the tank by 4x's for me!

Yeah that looks like a nice pump and plenty of flow. Is it really quite? My tank is next to my tv in the living room so I want to have my tank as silent as possible

Thanks. I really don't have that good of carpentry skills hence the paint. I probably have about $300 into the stand. I think that's what one cost to buy but I wanted mine to be a little larger

I used to have the sicce 5.0 and it was too loud. It would keep me up at night. Since my 60 is in my room. Then I went to the vectra pump and never looked back. Yes it is a little more expensive but in my opinion worth it. I run everything on that one pump. (BRS dual reactor, and I have another output on the manifold some time I run UV.)

Put my rock in for cycling purposes. I will have to work on the aquascaping.

well right now I'm using the mag 7 I have till I get the funds for the Vectra m1. seems like the best choice. I still have other things to get also first. do you have a equipment list on your tank? just curious

I really like the stand you put together I think I'm going to try that pocket drilling.

Thanks. The framework is based of the rocket engineer plans. I feel the pocket drilling is a must. It really made the frame sturdy
