Also I was able to finish up the diy skimmate locker. And I also added the finishing touches to the canopy/box to hide the t5s lol on a side note the trim also hides the frame on the tank :D

Would love to know where you got your t5 lighting from... I have LED lighting as well and was hoping to find a diy t5 lighting system to attach to each side of my LEDs similar to what you have done here. Looks nice and clean, Great Tank BTW!

Thanks! The t5 is just a basic glo retro kit, with ati blue+ bulbs, I picked it up for $20 when a local fish shop closed its doors ;)

Been a while since I updated this thread, so I figured I would take advantage of this nasty rainy weather and do so

not too much has happened over here, I did have some problems with low alk, ca, and mg but finally got that straightened out, and it looks like we are now on the rd to recovery :)

Anyway here is some fresh pics of some of my inhabitants :D

sanded it down with some 400 grit.

400 Grit? Seems a bit overkill. But its your project and i'm sure its much smoother than a baby's butt, not that i have experience testing the smoothness of baby's butts.

On my last ship, we used something between 1000 and 2500 grit to smooth out the knee-knockers. it was hard work but they looked beautiful.

Ok so I've spent some time looking over your project and will attempt to replicate what you have but for my 150 gallon cube. 36x36x27" tank. Which will make the over all stand 48x48x30( kept in mind the doorway issue. I know this was some time ago, but any info will help. Definitely new to the building materialist.

Love your tank. This is an awesome build. It has inspired me to do the same. I am collecting all the equipment for a 60 cube build as well. I really love the detail on the stand build. I'd love to see a full front tank pic including the stand from the front. Thanks

I live in Canada! So can't take you up on that offer. Thanks for the pics. Love the stand design, probably gonna make one for my 60 cube but with a black finish.
Love your new project so far! I will be following for sure. Thanks again!!

Very nice looking stand. I am a woodworker myself and I really like how your stand turned out.
