Daily entry question: Im currently using the cycle with my Atlantic icons! But I have yet to see any difference just yet since its pretty new. Ive only been using it for about 3 weeks.

I've started experimenting with the lunar cycle, tbh from what I've seen in a short period. Is everything still sleeps or rests. I am yet to see the long term effects, but use it every night now

I want going to play this one. Eh, maybe.
I would need two and they are so much $$$.
My LFS had a couple on a tank and look pretty sweet.
So looking at the lights, you have to hang them high to get coverage to the 30"x24" they claim or need 3 for a 60" tank.

I figure I have nothing to lose. and if I win, I can sell my kessils and almost cover the cost of the second I'd need for the tank. or tune the current spectrum to kinda match.

Par meter is the best way to measure the effectivness, alongside monitoring polyp extension

Ease of use and setup as well as number of useable features plays a major role in light selection. I weight the pros and cons, are all the features needed? will they improve coral growth? many more questions go into making this decision.

I use acclimation setting currently, both noopsyche and Ai can be slowly raised in intesity over a 2-3 month period.

I use less white spectrum to control algae growth but my main method of control in nutrient control. I generally dont adjust my lights for algae.

I have seen poly extension on acans and favias at nighttime and during nocturnal settings the snails seem to be active as well.
