DAILY QUESTION: What excites you most about the future of saltwater aquarium lighting? What is one innovative idea you hope will eventually become a reality for reef lighting?

DAILY QUESTION: What excites you most about the future of saltwater aquarium lighting? What is one innovative idea you hope will eventually become a reality for reef lighting?
One day, someone will make a light that is energy efficient, great at encouraging coral growth, and at a price point that makes the hobby within the financial reach of more people.

DAILY QUESTION: What are factors that you consider important when choosing a reef light? Why did you choose the light that you are currently using on your reef tank?
The quality of the build and the actual quality of the growth. Always check with my fellow reefers on the reviews.

DAILY QUESTION: How do you integrate new lighting technology with existing aquarium setups?
I've never upgraded my lights before. I would assume it's going to depend on how I'm mounting. I believe a par meter will be involved to get the right amount of light and/ or moving some corals around in my tank.

DAILY QUESTION: How do you use lighting programs like Coral Acclimation and Clouds to benefit your tank?
My current Current light doesn't have an acclimation mode. I've always placed new arrivals in the sand and slowly moved them up to where I wanted them.
