DAILY QUESTION: What advantages do you see in the Natura iCon’s wide blue spectrum for coral fluorescence?
I’m hoping the wide blue spectrum will make it possible to get the colors on corals to pop without having to tune the lights too far to the blue end of the spectrum. I prefer setting my lights to a more natural blend of blue and white than a lot of reefers use these days and that sometimes reduces coral fluourescence. Perhaps with the Natural iCon’s wide blue spectrum, I can get the colors to pop while the overall look is still natural looking.

DAILY QUESTION: What advantages do you see in the Natura iCon’s wide blue spectrum for coral fluorescence?
No more windex looking tanks? I’ve noticed that a lot of the old school reefers prefer t5 or metal halides over LED because of the blue spectrum of LEDs being so blue and not very natural looking. It seems the color of the blues, while helping that “pop” makes it not very nice to see fish or the natural rock colors. I’d hope with such a wide variation of blue it would help to give the pop of florescent colors but also show off the colors of the rock work and the fish too.

Official Entry - If I won this light, it would force me to do the inevitable and upgrade to a bigger tank! I also find it so interesting that the blues in the waters of Okinawa inspired design choices in this light. You can tell!

DAILY QUESTION: What advantages do you see in the Natura iCon’s wide blue spectrum for coral fluorescence?
I love running full blue for the glow. I slowly bring the white in until I like what I'm looking at.

DAILY QUESTION: What advantages do you see in the Natura iCon’s wide blue spectrum for coral fluorescence?
One of my biggest issues with my current lights is the lack of a wide spectrum. The spectrum this light provides should make it both prettier and better for the corals

DAILY QUESTION: Why is it essential to have a light that mimics natural sunlight and moonlight cycles?
Coral is found in nature thriving, so I believe its best to mimic that setting as naturally as possible in the home setting. Mimicing the cycles and intensity is a great step in the right direction when it come to duplicating nature.
