I would initially join R2R and search as there are lots of light out there and sometimes the most expensive may not be the best especially for newbies. Keep it simple, set it and forget it..

I would say lightning and stable chemistry are essential for normal coral growth, health and with that color.

I have two lists, one what I would really like but can't justify expense and one with great "affordable" options that will be fine. I hate to use the word affordable as it can mean many things. I consider the Natura Icon "affordable" but may be the best choice even disregarding the price which is especially good right now.

My reef tank has mostly SPS corals, so i just put max intensity possible

I run Orphek bars and T5. The two Orphek bars come on in the morning and 30 minutes later the T5 turn on. Later at night T5 goes off and then 30 mintes later the Orphek bars goes off. No way to adjust light intensity

Total guesswork. I default to schedules from better reefers than myself. Currently I use David Saxby's setting for AI.
