Tux, and trust me I've come up with some names for this mother sucka. Its about 2 inches out of reach chin wet and all. My wife thinks it's hilarious, so that's all that matters.

I ended up taking my 2 pincushions to the LFS after one carried a homewrecker frag through a torch field...ugh. Once they got tennis ball size seems like they can pull of glued down frags

This one’s taking a bit to settle in I think I initially put it in a spot that it didn’t like so moved it to a different spot on the rocks. And don’t mind my aptaisa farm it’s an uphill battle

Don't feel bad, mine hated where my rack was to then get kidnapped by my urchin and once rescued and glued in fell off the plug behind the reef. I think in the first month it shrank a 1/4.

dang urchins lol. They’re such jerks moving frags around but they’re such a good clean up crew I have to keep atleast 1 per tank

June has been rough.. a bulb change threw the tank into a funk. Probably also didn’t help that I sent my skimmer into over drive(I wanted to bring N & P down a touch and they came down way quicker then expect). Then while on vacation.. which I came back a day early from! My kalk ran out! One member from my original pack was a casualty but the contest frag looks ok! Tanks on the mend with P going from .15 down to .06 and now back to .14ish. Alk drop from around 7.9-8 to somewhere in the 6s.. I was in a panic. We are back to steady 8ish range.

It looks like about 1cm of growth this month and some encrusting but no change to the color:

I'm actually surprised there was this much growth at all considering that my system was very unstable as I was running my equipment like this for 3 weeks like this while I redesigned my fish room:
