Don't have too many, but I am a big fan of Ric's. Two of my best have melted away so I'm still figuring out how to keep them happy.

LOL....I have tried about 10 and lost all of them, although I have refined my approach to yumas and pink yumas...So far it has worked my big Hot Red/Pink is doing great and my prize yuma Fluorescent orange with metallic green center is doing great as well. Just make sure you photo-aclimate them for extended period of time before moving them out to bright light.....You sould be fine by the looks of it though...

i have it under my frag rack azurel,,indirect light,side of the tank..i didnt move it at all..i water acclimated it for 2+ hours(drip method)..will never move it:wink:hopefully it will do really good..so i can stop buying/looking for pink yuma:xd:

the 2 pink baby yuma that i got from blazer(RC) suppose to be pink but theres a hint of orange,heres the mother of both(blazers pic)...he have them really up high in direct lighting thats why probably its a lot pinker..in my tank theres hint of orange..

Yea his is nice....Lighting can play a role but I think your is pink as well even if there is a hint of orange still stunning none the less.....I know it took me about 2-3 months for each to move into more light still not in direct lighting but have gained and kept their color......I figure if they are happy where they are at right now I don't plan on moving them....Sounds like you have it all planned out and doing good....Keep up the good work. The more pink yumas we can keep alive the better.

yes,im happy that i found the really pink one in my lfs,usually its not that very often that they have pink yumas available...i was thinking twice on getting it because its wild caught but still i took the risk...i hope it will really do good and yeah the more pink yuma we can keep alive the better..i just hope they multiply fast:)
