From what I’ve read they don’t compete well. So maybe beef up the mechanical feed larger chunks for fish and let your coral Photosynthesize for a bit and you should be able to starve them out.

Never take from coral fund... Anniversary, Birthday, Christmas but never coral!!!

Problem with that is they are the neon green hydroids and can photosynthesize themselves. It's basically how to remove them.
