I have two here I use in the UK, both about 50 miles away. One is fairly easy access and the other is the other side of the Moors.

Several big box stores Petco/Petsmart nearby but useless for even most frozen food. We have several well-known, grossly overpriced reef shops 40-60 minutes away that I don't bother with anymore unless I need a piece of equipment now. The best shop close by, that got a lot of my money for years, was Stormborn Reef but they closed down. Most equipment, supplies and food come from BRS or Amazon. Lately most livestock have come from Reefgardener, fish4less, ExtremeCorals and AquaSD and never even have to leave my chair or deal with Winter Park/Orlando tourist traffic lol.

European Aquatics is great in MA. Everyone is super nice and helpful and they actually have a decent amount of stuff despite it's small appearance on the outside.

I have 2 in my area - 3rd closed last year, though their big focus was freshwater.

Of the 2 left - one is about 15 min away, the other 30 min. When I was getting into the hobby and setting up my tank last year, I looked at both to purchase and set up my tank and I felt more comfortable with the closer one.

Thus far, they’ve been great to work with - both on purchases of livestock and coral. Since BRS is in the Twin Cities, their prices are pretty much the same, they’ve also matched prices too and have a rewards program so I get some rebate to use in store from all of my purchases.

I also like that all of their fish are QT’d, the other charges extra for QT. I’ve seen their QT tanks and their process and it seems good to me. I’ve even reserved fish that were in QT and was able to choose the one I wanted.

I have one shop about 20 minutes away that is overpriced and isn’t trustworthy if I need something I can’t wait on being mailed. My primary shop is 50 miles / 1 hour drive for livestock.
