I forget what that is called. Something to do with grain and pixels. It would happen to any photo really.
OH the blowups turned out really nice actually. I was just talking about my photos of the pictures hanging haha. Honestly can't really see any pixelization!

I understood. There's a reason we just print the original and not take a photo of the photo. It's as if I were to go to wal-mart and print your photo of a photo out, It degrades too much :(

I agree, those look very beautiful!

It’s possible to hybridise them and I’ve seen many people attempt to hybridise them. I believe they split through sexual reproduction so it’s possible cross breeding occurs when two zoas get close enough to almost touch.
It could also be a case of some strains just aren’t compatible with eachother which I’ve seen when one strain just outgrows the other.

Yeah most of my Zoas fight when they touch each other. But the Zoas in between these two are quite obviously some sort of combo.

I get what you're saying. I think we can also get different morphs of mushrooms that way as well (from same species, different colorations). It's something I call splicing. I forget the actual term.

They cut one in half and place it near the half of a different color hoping they fuse. Some have done it with the montipora, acropora just to name a couple of successes. So, I can't say they wont do it by themselves.

Edit: grafting.

I'm debating a harlequin shrimp. Asterinas are getting out of hand. I keep seeing them on struggling corals and I assume they are eating them. My plan would be to add to the tank until all asterinas are gone then give back to the LFS. I could easily move the sand sifting starfish to the other tank but I have two other issues. My two brittle stars and all my urchins. I understand that they are not the preferred food of the shrimp but a possible food nonetheless. Thoughts?
