It's swimming upside down then laying upside down. Though its looking a little better now. Its Anampses Cearulepunctatus. If it’s swimming it could be acting dead.
Is that a kuiteri?
That’s a cool idea! What are the steps for that? I kinda want to try that?I should have gone with my proven acclimation method. Place the bag in the sump and drip from the display tank. This one is too much: https://reefprostore.com/pages/fish-invert-acclimation-guide
considering she managed to burry herself, it’s likely she will be alrightI messed up...
Could have been even worse but I tried to carefully pour it back into a bag in my sink so I could temp acclimate but as I poured the bag slipped and the fish almost went down the drain. I got it though and put it in the sump. It managed to bury itself just fine though.
I really hope it's OK. It is really beautiful.
I mean it’s pretty self-explanatory. You float the fish in the sump while simultaneously having a drip line from the DT down to the bag. I use binder clips to clip it to the sides. That’s a cool idea! What are the steps for that? I kinda want to try that?
Yes I’m still traumatized from my tang incident lol

No ideaHow’s the wrasse?!
No idea is better than dead.No idea
Still going. I saw it come out. It looks very tired but it swam upright and normally. It has a massive amount of copepods to eat in there and looks fairly plump. It's preconditioned so getting to eat shouldn't be too hard if it can recover well enough. I'm guessing 50/50 at this point. How’s the wrasse?!
Tamarins are like the nano species IME. They tend to be skittish and a pain in the first few days to a month (sometimes longer) however once they get established into the tank and know you they’re easy as pie.Still going.
