So I found a squatter in my tank last night... a dang gorilla crab. I've noticed empty snail shells around the tank lately but I just chalked it up to the wrasses, then last night as the lights were dimming out I saw it bolt into the rocks. Ugh. I guess this guy has been in the tank for years and now he's gotten big enough to be destructive. Time to evict.

So many common names… It’s like each fish has;
1 Globally accepted common name
1 Locally accepted common name
1 Regionally accepted common name
1 Continental accepted common name
1 Scientific name (My favourite :D)

Speaking of anampses... I saw a tiny 1" juvi caeruleopunctatus at my LFS last night. I wanted to take her home sooo bad. They also had a nice female choati and some beautiful 8 line flashers. I resisted all temptation and my wallet thanked me.
