If you can't find one of the delicate wrasses you're looking for locally give Reef Pro a shot. My Kuiter's leopard and feminus wrasse came from them. They arrived in perfect condition and eating.
I received my batch of wrasses from ReefPro earlier today. All the fish that shipped look nice overall, except the female hooded flame fairy had visible flukes on her. Treated her with prazi and they've already come off. Others look nice. I did have 2 others on order though and they called and told me they werent doing well, and they weren't comfortable shipping, but now they are relisted for sale on the website?

I will say though that other than the flukes in the one wrasse, all the other fish are gorgeous. Nicest specimens of their species I've ever seen, especially for the helfrichi firefish pair and fathead anthias.

That's a bummer about the flukes. Really they relisted your fish? Maybe they just got an additional shipment? They've always been such a great vendor to work with hopefully they're not going downhill.

They were listed again an hour after I got off the phone with them, with the same pics as when I had initially purchased them.

Wow that sucks, if it was a day or two after I’d understand but an hour? That’s just unbelievable.

I think the pics are stock images unless the fish is listed as wysiwyg. Were your fish wysiwyg?

Yeah, overall I'm happy with the fish I received. Still nicer and healthier fish than most of my LFS and WAY better selection than all my LFS by a longshot. So will probably order again eventually, just didn't quite live up to the expectations I had from reading reviews and testimonials on this forum. Especially since most of the fish they carry are the fish I like best, and a lot of my LFS don't seem to order in anything besides basic blue devils, dominos, a few types of tangs, and various non-reef safe odds and ends. 3 different places have a worse selection than the local petco, which has a pretty miserable selection and really rough tanks, but still looks better and healthier than some of our LFS...

Nope.

Edit: just looked at their site and those wrasses are now listed as not in stock. I think when they called me and removed them from the order their computer automatically must have relisted them. So mayby they realized and have now removed them from the inventory.

Gotcha. Yeah I bet you're right it was automated then corrected.

I know how you feel about expectations. I ordered a foxface from a well-known QT vendor with a good reputation but my fox arrived so thin you could see the outline of food in its stomach when it ate. I was pretty shocked at his condition but he fatten up quickly so it turned out okay.

Overall, I'm still very happy with the fish. Even though the bathyphilus had flukes and is a little thin, I know it'll fatten up. It's right out in the open, completely fearless, and eats like a champ.

As for all the rest of the fish from ReefPros, they look spectacular. Fat, healthy, reasonably priced, and all of them are already mostly comfortable in the tank. Even the Fathead Sunburst Anthias, who is still being a little shy, came out to greedily eat frozen mysis soaked in Selcon and Vita-chem

This is correct. The way our system works if unfortunately a fish is taken off of the order due to quality standards the fish will appear back in our inventory system. Once your order is packed and barcodes are scanned the system updates and those items are removed from the inventory. We apologize for any miscommunication or inconvenience this may have caused.

Nothing new to update. Still dealing with bubble algae, but I'm making progress. I got my camera out and took some pics last night. Photo drop incoming....

Chinas always look like they are giving you a kiss lol.

That is one that is next on my list. Gonna let all of the other 12 or so I added a while back settle in a little more and add once I move my purple tang to the 500. It is not mean, but trying to keep bioload the same. Once it moves, china will get ordered and some more barnacle blennies added.

Salty! What do we know about personality on dusky brunneus fairy wrasse? (cirrhilabrus brunneus)
One of my favorite wrasses! I love their sinister look! But their looks do not match their personality, they are easily bullied.
