It’s been on my list for awhile but never thought I’d have an opportunity to get one. I have limited space left in my tank so this is sooo tough! Arrgh!! I’m trying to talk @Crabby48 into getting one too lol

I thought you would be ordering it by the end of the night. Maybe but your slacking on the enabling last two days lol

Just sayin….corner reef breaks down a lot of set ups and has awesome deals on the tanks and stands.

I offered my Red Sea 425. She could put it along side hers and have 8’ of tank.

It’s a Xenojulis margaritaceus aka Gold Nugget wrasse

They have been around lately. Best to get before gone type a thing. They may stay for awhile but probably disappear for a year

Ignore the dirty glass, some RTN acro frags (opps dosing container ran dry and I topped it back up to quick) and sand on the clam. I just fed the tank prior to video, so all fish went nuts.

Quite a few wrasse in there now, as all are done with hybrid ttm and prazi.

Was worse than that when it came in. Has been healing up slowly. lower half of tail was less damage and is now back to how it should be. Hoping the middle grows back more, but it was way very close to the body of the fish, so may never grow back.

It is my tank and I have kept watching it lol.

If you pay attention, my LTA hosts my half black mimic a little. It and the des touch the LTA tents all the time lol. So weird.

It’s the same over here, it’s either they’re too aggressive/not reef safe or they’re too finicky and can’t stand even the smallest bit of stress. So annoying to find a nice wrasse that falls in between the two. I really am liking pictures of the Tahitian gold… So many “Gold” wrasses that it’s so hard to keep up with them. I’d love to find a rare but not a newly discovered wrasse to go with. Gold Nuggets are nice but it’s the fish everyone’s getting and I’d rather not jump on a finicky fish if it’s not been in the LFS for Atleast a week.

This is why I have a macro lagoon lol. A Blackear wrasse, puddingwife and a slippery dick wrasse would cause havok in a reef tank lol. Well, there would be no inverts left alive lol. But in mangrove tank they do OK.
