would you feel bad flushing xenia and fast growing corals down the drain

Yep, definantely give it away. I love pulsing xenia and have it in my mostly sps tank, just make sure its seperate from the main rockwork.

not always the case, but you may be surprised at what your LFS will take in for store credit.

even if your LFS doesn't have any livestock you'd like to buy, you can always turn it in for consumables (salt, carbon, etc).

One of the LFS had a guy try to bring in Aptasia and Majanos and actually had a guy offer to buy some of them!

yea definitely don't flush a coral. that's too sad! it's a live thing... i like xenia but they do take over the tanks. you should put them on a little rock and give it away to people. i've seen xenia in stores for $5~$20 a frag. i bet a lfs would take it and sell it as well.

I wouldn't feel bad at all. though i would trade it to the LFS for credit before flushing it.
