I'm not sure. The body is metal. I think the impeller is plastic. They are heavy in weight. I joke, that, if you hold a Blueline pump at your waistline and drop it on your bare foot you will break every bone in your foot. But, if you hold a Sicce pump at your waistline and drop it on your bare foot you will break the pump!Is it stainless or plastic internal parts? They sound like a decent pump.
