Most of us have dealt with algae buildup on our glass. So I am wondering, how are you removing this stubborn algae? Do you use CUC, a scraper, or maybe something less conventional? I want to see your go-to glass cleaning method! Photo Credit: @Reef and Dive

Magnetic scraper every couple days. For the stubborn spots I’ve found if I slightly lift the front of the magnet on the outside of the glass it will put more pressure on the razor and deal with most of it. I still have to get the long stick razor scraper out every few weeks for that pesky line at the sand bed and water line. The magnet can’t apply enough pressure to deal with that.

Tunze Care Nano. It's what I was looking for all along. Absolutely fantastic.

32g biocube, came with a magnet with a flap sticking out the side to help with the curved corners. Good for flat glass and corners, but completely ineffective against the hard green gravel-line algae.

Flipper Nano, metal edge did some good with gravel line, but was very time intensive (and tiring) to get results unless I used it like a handheld scraper, and the whole point is keeping my hand out of the tank.

Tunze Care Nano. Plastic blade. Complete game changer. Made a video for a friend, took off a section at the gravel line in 15 seconds that would have taken a solid 10 minutes with the Flipper in normal use. Does well in the corners too, as long as you don't push it so far into/past the curve that it pops off the glass.

Still have the Biocube magnet in the back corner, as my clownfish adopted it as their home base. Not sure where the Flipper ended up, haven't seen it in months.

I get butthead to do all my cleaning!

I have a algae magnet for the inside. Every day before feeding I run it around the tank. Then I have a squeegee for the outside. I spray the glass with a vinegar and water solution and squeegee it off. Clean glass

Using a magfloat on the inside and a wet microfibre cloth followed by a dry one on the outside. Only 3 months in but works good so far. Have a long plastic blade scraper as well but haven't needed it much yet.
