What is this mark on my Mimic Tang

Hello everyone, I just noticed these marks on the one side of my Tang and was hoping this is nothing serious. He is swimming normally and still eating like he hasn’t eaten anything in a week. Could someone put my mind at ease I’m stressing.

He has been in DT for approximately 3 weeks after doing TTM 36 hour 4 transfers. Last 2 72 hrs. Bought from fellow reefer who initially qt with copper.

It’s just the three marks by the tail. as everything else is showing up on its own by the camera and this definitely was not there this morning.
My parameters are

Salinity 35 PPT
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10
Phosphate 0.01
Alk 8.0
Cal 480
Mag 1480

Are they only on that one side of the fish? if so, it may just be an injury from fighting, perhaps with the gem tang.

Quite possibly may be rocks? I know she’s been forging on the rock work a lot.

Is there anything else I should keep an eye out for if anything?

Rarely will fish injure themselves on rocks, they live among sharp corals after all. That can happen though, if you turn on the lights suddenly or bang on the tank - causing the fish to startle and hit the rocks.

Looks like bite marks.
Not an issue a provided not sustained.
Have similar bite marks on my hands.

Rarely will fish injure themselves on rocks, they live among sharp corals after all. That can happen though, if you turn on the lights suddenly or bang on the tank - causing the fish to startle and hit the rocks.

Ok sounds good for the most part. At least I know it’s nothing serious. I’ve never seen any aggressive behavior with my tangs at all but it must be happening. I will keep an eye on them. Thanks for your input I appreciate it

Ahh. Could be euphyllia, he was swimming through them and still does as he forges on rocks. Never thought of that but possible for sure. Thanks you kindly I appreciate it.
