What is the max amount of time I can keep a little tiny 1cm damselfish in my breeder box for

Hi I went to my lfs today and they got in a nice tiny little azure damsel in how long would it be okay for him to live in my big breeder box inside of my big tank.

The breeder box is approx 20cm

if it were me i wouldnt let that thing go!

It’s not him that would be the problem it’s my big butt female clown

She moves around from big 5ft to my 2ft 24/7 because of how aggressive she is to damselfish. Any other species of fish I add she will be okay with but because clownfish are a sub species of damsels she will kill them
