ATI LED T5 tubes. I have a 4-bulb 48" Vivosun with full spectrum T5 sized LED tubes that I use for my garden seed starting. Wish they came in the correct color spectrum for reef tanks.

Why would you want that when T5 is already the perfect light? (except for metal halide which is even perfecter)

Colorful nudibranch that ate GHA regardless how long or nasty. Along with other undesirable but left everything else alone.

CO2 probe

Hydrogen peroxide probe (lab have but too expensive)

Miniature tangs that were police approved for smaller than Polo Reef and can fit in a 20

Heat tolerant coral (actually a thing)

Sealed sump for cultivating macroalgae and access ports like on reactors as I hate sumps being they are noisy, hassle to plumb and potential points for flooding. Actually designing something and having it built once I find another open to new ideas

All in one off the shelf with larger than 3" compartments. I get it. All want more display area but those quarters too cramp

Man made rock from 3D printer with porosity that won't clog from biofilm and won't weight a ton making larger peices in big tanks and easier task along with drilled magnetic ports for frags along with caps to hide ports not used. Load reactor with live rubble or better yet a fluidized sand bed filter and place live sand to seed diversified bacteria being original live rock likely a thing of the past and just tossing land rocks in the sea not really the same thing

Might as well have 3D printed walls like with cichlid tanks

Reef safe medication that cures everything including the kitchen sink so wife approves

Lighter weight lights similar to Phillips and ATI that lack fans and are whisper quiet because those fans can be so annoying and yet the heat sink solution weights enough that it's not applicable for all

Integrated PAR readings where the lights self adjust and you just tell it when on and when off and perhaps use lasers off a reflection to take frequent readings. When was the last time use saw a carpenter pull out his tape measure. Lasers where it's at and LiDAR might work

Pellets that replace frozen with proper ratio of need and less phosphates

Dissolving mineral block based on matching sea water parameters. Something exists but seems like a it just dissolves vs that based off measurable such as calcium

Perhaps AI solves all this. Think it. It builds it :)

Old post, but Sargassum is pretty much exactly what you're looking for haha. Can get it from a couple different shops in the Atlantic.
Wouldn’t mind trying it!!! There seems to be a lot of it even on the shores! Thanks.

more hybrid all in ones. For example, kessil should make a unit that allows you to use between 1 and 4 ho T5’s with their A360’s or similar built into the unit. A well made app would give you the option to turn on your led’s as usual but also give you the option to use as many t5’s as you wish. All from your phone.

Mine would definitely be the April fools joke from Biota.

Though, I do like the idea of technology like power heads and lights to self adjust to your tanks needs.

I also really like the idea brought up above about manta rays. That would be awesome.

this dream could be a reality with an Aquaticlife T-5 + LED hybrid fixture, an Apex to control the on/off + scheduling and having a custom AIO built for you.
To be honest, I think the only reason this doesn't exist is that AIO tanks seem to taper off after the 40g breeder and then in an effort to keep them cheap don't offer much past a programmable light.

Yea exactly. But that means you need an apex setup which is very expensive. I see what you mean though.
