What kind of company nukes peoples tanks and then just says nothing about the resolution when the uproar dies down. Unbelievable. How do these people sleep at night
Exactly. It’s not hard.I really hope they see this comment.
If they would just own the mistake publicly, that would make a world of difference.
And if they would acknowledge that this update does in fact fix the issue, I would certainly sleep a lot better at night.

Red Sea?
Nice job! But what a kludge. I’m losing confidence in Neptune.Oh no... please don't turn this into one of those threads lol.
Quick update... There has been some very strange, infrequent behavior since the update for us. I thought it was hardware, but it may actually be more firmware issues.
While not as terrible as the other kill your tank bug, this one does it slowly. It becomes unable to rotate, and ends up not actually dosing (but logging it as if it did). Since it's so quiet, I was not able to figure this out until I dropped ~2 dKH. Neptune support is all over it, so hopefully this doesn't bite too many of you... But, if it does, I was able to come up with a workaround.
The issue fixes itself when the doser is power cycled (literally just unplugged and plugged back in again). So, I wrote a program to generate a program to turn off the doser 3 minutes before every other dose for 1 minute. This seemed to keep things working pretty reliably. If any of you update to the new firmware and see this, I can generate the apex code for you if you send me a screenshot of your dosing interval (or you can type the 50+ lines in manually if you prefer lol).

Can you share more information with me about your specific situation?
Do you have a Neptune support ticket?
What version of AOS did you have installed when this happened?
Can you add me to your APEX (my username is JoeC)?
This was specific to the new quiet drive?Oh no... please don't turn this into one of those threads lol.

What’s going on now? Still broken or what?
Yes, specific to the new quiet drive.
After talking to neptune support, I was given beta firmware to try. Fixed the issue where the doser is not able to rotate. It does appear to be software.
There have been a number of firmware problems with the DOS QD. IMHO, it's very clear that these were not ready for use when released to the general public. Neptune has stayed silent. Very disappointing.
If anyone is considering "upgrading" their doser to the new DOS QD, I highly encourage you to wait. Buy the OG doser if you need to buy one. The new one is very quiet, but also very buggy.
Are you on the latest firmware? Is everything else working ok?
Yeesh. So they’re just out there beta testing on you and on everyone else if they know yours isn’t working right. Scary.I'm running an unreleased firmware version that Neptune support installed on my apex.
With this version everything seems to be working on expected, but this version is not yet available to the general public.

Ya!What's really scary is the amount of time mine has been running the beta software without it being pushed to the rest of the apexes.
As a software dev, that means there's a bug they haven't quite fixed yet that I haven't been warned about, or their release process is just entirely too slow. Well, QA process could be quite long or something... But given the quality of the last updates, I highly doubt it's that.
Again, it sure would be nice for Neptune to say literally anything at all at some point.

Same issue here, test B fail, also DOS not showing any log after update. I have flushed all the lines and manifold multiple times. I wonder if it's related to the firmware update.
This is where I am at. Now it won’t test anything but alk. 1 I’d suspect a mechanical issue. Not both doing the same thing.
Also every few hours they are “Initializing”
