I know lots of us deal with UPS delays, I was dealing with a shipment stuck at a UPS hub last night and was actually able to get in contact with the hub and schedule a pickup.
What I did was call UPS customer service and explain that I really needed to talk to the local hub about the shipment since live animals were involved. They then forwarded me to “Preferred Customer Service” they wouldn’t give me the hub number but sent them a message to give me a call. The worker at the local hub called me and held the package for the customer to pick up instead of waiting until the next day for delivery.
