im not sure which one im supposed to do! :thinking-face:

If you are most concerned about trace elements, use Oceamo icp-ms. If you are mostly concerned with major and minor ions, the icp-OES is fine.

No he posted the link for the Oceamo ICP-OES test
I see that now, not the clearst descriptions on thier site for those that may just want to get Oceamo test kits from them. They mention what is tested in addition to the "classic ATI ICP test" first, then go on to state the sample is shipped to Oceamo.

how hard would it be for someone with a lab that currently uses ICP-MS for things other than seawater to conduct tests on seawater? would it just need to be calibrated differently or something? or would the calibration stay the same and just interpret the data differently because its a different substance? Just curious how easy or hard it would be for them to do some tests.

I have a couple friends who work in a local lab, but haven't asked them about this yet cause i dont wanna bother them if its not realistically feasible for them to switch over the tests.
