I feel it's just an extra indicator to add to our arsenal. The more information the better for the people with enough sense not to simply chase numbers.

Yep, exactly. Just another tool in the toolbox.

I do believe the more we look at these values with pictures of the tanks that have high DOC levels, and we gather information/data about the system, we will start to see some similarities between them. Just a guess. So many variables in this hobby that make it extremely difficult to pin down things.

I'm heavy acros with really good health/color. Of course there's always ups and downs so not enough info yet for any down period I've had as it's been good lately
