hopefully you keep get the results you wantUpdate on my out side test tub
After talking to @Subsea about out door temps and seaweed concentrate for feeding the sea weed. So I have
the temp set so if it drops lower than 55 the heater kicks in also started dosing seaweed concentrate.
So we will see if seaweed growth starts and the fish are more active with the temperature rise so things are fine on all fronts.
I did some seaweed trimming from the tub today and it all looked healthy. So great information from subsea and a big thank you from me outdoor fish keeping is a little bit different to keeping them in the house but I am getting there and no losses so far.
Hope so the seeweed was the problem but it looks like I have turned the corner with that problem thanks too subsea he has decades of knowledge and thinks like Paul B keeping reefs the natural way.hopefully you keep get the results you want
Have you grown dulse? It taste like bacon. When I researched commercial seaweed systems and varieties, I was surprised that dulse was a commercially ediable product in the Atlantic & Pacific Oceans. It would be a fast grower at 55-65 degrees, In addition to major & minor nutrients in seaweed concentrate, I suggest adding ammonia as a source of nitrogen. I add 1 ml NH4 for 10G of system water every other day.Update on my out side test tub
