I played trombone (as well as many other instruments). Picked a used one up recently. Sounds like we need a big reefing brass band.

Speaking of playing any instrument... the highschool used to help out with the middle school concerts. Set chairs, move percussion... Brand nerds tend to hang around other bands nerds. Anyway, after the concert one of the girls left her flute on a stand in the band room. I asked if i could play it and she didn't mind. I turned the stand around backwards and proceeded to play their concert. It was Star Wars themed as that was back when the second three movies were popular/new. Episodes I, II and III. They were amazed that I was; one, playing an instrument I had no training on and two, playing by ear and not by sheet music. All I had to do was go thru the keys and figure out what made what sound and I was good. Woodwinds are kinda the same like that. Just like how brass have 3 valves and you change octave with your mouth. BTW, I can/could change octaves like that with my saxophone. I think it's called falsetto... used to be able to get a larger range than a clarinet (largest normal range of any woodwind instrument). Saxophones are kinda special... and the saxophone section is very special. At least it was when I was in band.

I used that same black in my two most recent experiments. Its seems to move more than anything Ive dealt with yet. Ultra fine and I washed the crap out of it.

Fine like sugar... reminds me of the white sand on the dunes at the beach. I always heard it called "sugar sand."

Magnet, your mission, should you choose to accept, is to penetrate the enemy sand bed and recon for any foreign metal objects. This is a strictly black ops mission and should you fail, any record of your existence will be destroyed. Things to be on the look out for are; screws, razors, other magnets and any thing that will stick to your body. If you find any of these you must bring them back with you. Good luck out there, soldier.

Is your's Hawaiian black sand? I think it's magnetic because it's volcanic.
