Just to correct my memory, you use a GFCI with a ground probe, right? If so, you can rule out any failed electrical equipment. You would likely be looking for a magnet issue. Either a motor rotor or mounting magnets.

Yes, I installed a GFCI outlet behind the tank. I'm thinking its either the Kessil mounts, or the Jebao rotors.

@Scurvy... I just remembered. When I grew this thing out. It was under 30% intensity with only one A160. Seneye meter was reporting 80 PAR where it was. I just moved the lights to 40% peak like you suggested. Tank looks kinda dark... lets see what this does.

Mother inlaw had quad bypass today. She is doing well so I just caught up with the posts.

If you used cheap Chinese stuff I would look there. They tried to kill our dogs have no doubt they care much about our fish.

Snowflake eel is home and in the 40b. She's probably 12" long. About half grown, but twice the size of Maui. She needs a name. I've already got Maui, I was thinking maybe Pele... or Kauai... sticking with the Hawaiian theme, if you couldn't tell.

The girl I got the eel from let me borrow a 2 bulb T5. I was talking about adding T5 to the Deep Blue and she was like, "I got a 2 bulb you can use..." its late and I have no way of hanging it right now, so I stuck it on the 40b to hold the screen down. It actually looks good over it.

She said I needed to put a stick in there and watch it grow. That would be some crap, all that money in the Deep Blue and as cheap as this thing is start growing coral... maybe I will turn this thing into a reef. One day...

I like side by sides... looking at the same coral every day is hard to see any progress. When I put two pictures side by side I'm amazed. Top left is today, bottom right was taken on 3-19. Bottom pics filtered to make color pop, top pics are without any filters. I've got growth all over on that piece, just need to work on color now.
