Just got 5g of water made. 1.025SG, 8.6dKH. That is why I wasn't seeing a drop in alkalinity. Got a bucket that's mixing a bit high. Water change in the morning, gotta head out... Turtle is hungry and wants tacos.

I touched it with my finger, its hard. Feels like the rock. Funny thing, the pavona was in the tank before we got this purple rock. That was back with the phosphate bound uncured pukani rock...

Usually bleaching/dead coralline will turn bright orange before white.

Not everything is dying. The sympodium and zoas are doing very well... as are those dumb purple clove polyps, and the purple mushroom. That thing has gotten big. The acans are just ticked... probably need a few weekly water changes and they'll bounce back.

Found this guy in the 40B tank... he's about the size of a penny. Biggest asterina I've seen yet.

So, the spots that were orange yesterday, aren't orange anymore and there is a new spot of orange just an inch or two away.
Shrug...
Purple mushroom is half dollar size, was smaller than a quarter when I got that rock. Its actually a pretty shroom... got a slight iridescent color to it. Purple cloves have completely recovered the top of the tall rock again after being scrubbed off. Fast growing weeds, reminds me of my front yard. If I kill all the weeds I'd have 90% dirt and a little grass.
