There's an idiot that is/was in the Charleston reefers club facebook page that was using pool salt for his QT tank... because of the cost. We all laughed at him, but we usually do/did that anyway. I think he left or got kicked out the group... or he possibly blocked me. Actually I'm pretty sure he did block me, but he's blocked half the people in the group anyway.
Trouble maker!! I thought we were joking this whole time about salt in @Brew12 pool! Never even considered it being a saltwater pool!

Chlorine is so old school. Now a days everyone is running saltwater pools.

What happened to his qt tank
He claimed all his fish were fine... I don't believe anything he said.

It really is a bit of a joke. Technically it is still fresh water, just softened. The final salinity being 1.0024 means it would take over 10 times as much salt to get to natural sea water levels.

Something thats recently started growing in the Deep Blue, spirorbid worms. These thing are all over the 14g. The back chambers, return and heater are COVERED in them. Guess they made it over somehow. I'll keep them scraped off the back glass, they can take over the inside of the overflow.

Oh and that blue stylo... it appears the STN has stopped and what polyps are left, are extended. Its partially bleached and half dead, but its hanging in there.
