Sounds good. Can't wait to see your progress! Best thing that happened to my tank. Besides water changes, do you have a way to export nutrients if it gets too high? Skimming? Maybe some bioplastic reactor? Macro algae? It seems kind of redundant how I add nutrients, but I also skim every night for 6-7 hours and I also have so much chaeto it's crazy! It's the method that works for me to keep No3 where I want it.

My nutrient export was Purigen and Chemipure Elite... striped my water completely and why I'm starting to dose the KNO3. I removed it all and will replace with BRS ROX carbon and GFO in bags in my media basket. Since I'm also fishless right now(5 more weeks), I don't want to just dump food in the tank to turn into a nightmare of algae. I do target feed the duncan once every week or so.

Ummm, well let's see. Held shipping because of the tropical storm two weeks ago, then FedEx left the package at the store or some **** last week. Messaged him today and he had forgot. I have a tacking number now. FedEx should be at my door tomorrow at noon.

Tested nitrates again, 0.25ppm on the red sea pro kit. Added 2 more ml of solution. That's all I'm dosing for tonight, I'll see where everything is in the morning.

Good luck dude. Some of the stuff I got looked like crap. But from cali to Michigan is quite the trip. He told me he was gonna make it right and was supposed to ship the frog spawn this week but to no avail. Now I have to wait for the frag replacement to heal I'm sure. Oh well, could be worse. Great tank progression.

Try California to South Carolina, but overnight is overnight, and idk how many times this dude has put the nem in a box and tried to ship it... or if he's even done that once. I won't be buying anything from him, bad taste in my mouth of ya know what I mean

I got the nem in. It's small, but looks good thru the bag. Tons of color. It might be tucked up, but its about 2" across. I'll update with more pics once is in the 75g.

Heres my 10 gal nano also a IM. Softie and lps tank. Houses a wyoming white clown and a swales swissguard basselet. Im acctually having a cyano out break at the moment but someone help my figure it was from lack of flow so ive ordered and shipped a new power head just waiting for it to come. I have my whites turned up for the lics but i have the blue a litle more prominent to in the tank.

Haha thanks i got tons of flags all over my room. Including a molan labe flag. But yeah ive had my IM tank for 2 years but its always been a freshwater planted tank until 3 months ago and i went to salt water. But im still learning about everything that consists of a reef tank. its funny to see that your clowns sleep like that though because mine does the same thing in my tank.

They are in QT now. Tang came down with velvet right after I lost my coral beauty in the nano. They don't sleep in the corner like that in QT, but they still sleep right next to each other.

I'm not sure who brought it in, I have my suspicions that the tang had it the entire time. The coral beauty was in that tank to begin with, so she was exposed before being moved to the 14g.

That sucks im sorry you lost your coral beauty.

Like i said im dealing with my own can of worms and thats this cyano.

Comparing photos I can't tell if this is growth, or just really good polyp extension....

I'm thinking growth, so I got that part covered I just need to figure out the color part.

Tested nitrates and phosphates again tonight, almost 2ppm NO3 and 0.04ppm PO4. I'm gonna dose 2ml KNO3 to bump it just over 2ppm and see how long it takes to drop.

This Monti will be the tell tale if all this is working. It has really faded out but is growing slowly. It used to be bright neon green with blue polyps.
