About 10 years ago I had both of my eclectus parrots get out. Scarlet, my female, returned a few days later and was perched in the back yard, but my male, Daddio, decided to go live free forever. It sucks, but they can come back! I'd call animal control because sometimes people call them in when they see them. Also check local "lost and found pets" groups for your area on Facebook. Youd be surprised how many poeple might have seen your friend, or will be able to keep an eye out for you if you post a picture.

Yes, my little sun conure, Carrot.
We would have celebrated her first "gotcha day" next Thursday..
I hand fed her from the time she was 8 weeks, weened her, and trained her. My first bird ever.
I can't believe how BIG a hole she has left in my heart. I'm still hoping for her to come back. She got away on Tuesday evening.
