Seeking some information on newly acclimated Trachyphyllia

Unsure if the small tear happened during acclimation or before receiving.

Skeleton does not look to be freshly white.

My question is will the trachy make a recovery on its own or do I need to start healing in a dip solution

I use Revive from Two Little Fishies to dip on acclimation.

Parameters
8.2PH
1.025sg
.01-05 phos
3-10ppm nitrate
78temp
11.5dkh
510calc (can't seem to lower)
1300ppm mg

10month old tank
Trachy seems to be opening nicely within first week, but no changes to the tear in flesh.

if it's opening leave it alone... i'd only be concerned if it stays closed up many days in a row... i'm not seeing anything concerning in photos... looks good and healthy

if you're talking where flesh meets skeleton being slightly exposed - i have that on mine as well in spots... doesn't seem to cause any issues and it's been in my tank for over a year with no issues. May be normal

Thanks for the reply!
I will continue to monitor.
And yes that's one spot of exposed skeleton where the skin meets is what I'm referring to.

It does appear to be quite healthy otherwise.
