Both. The information I learn, I tend to give to others if/when the opportunity arises.

The advice I received on here is the ONLY thing that has kept me going in this hobby. I didn't even know what LPS or SPS stood for... Even AFTER I ordered my first coral. Yet, NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON laughed in my face when I asked the dumb questions.

I voted "other" because I am happy to now be in a position to reach out to folks who were like me and give them the most important advice: there are no dumb questions... Only people who quit because they didn't ask them. Maybe others would see it as "knowing enough to be dangerous". I just know that I learn something new and I meet some who wants to learn something new, each day I log in.

Both for me. I learn something new all the time! I try not to speculate and only answer questions if it’s something I’ve experienced. I’ll also tag the appropriate person who might be able to help if they didn’t answer already.

I find myself giving more but do receive from time to time.

I've been at it a long time and I'm getting older. I have seen a lot, worked thru a lot of problems. Mostly on a small budget so I improvised mostly. Now I can afford to buy my problem fixers. I still like to diy tho and help others.
