Nice shaggy polyps, with pink highlights on the axial corallites and a bright yellow corallite on the tip! Has been nice and hardy for me and a good grower.

I'm going to cut a few and heal them in my backup for a month or so. The past couple I have put in there have encrusted well, so I might try to start a new colony there.

i would like to buy some corals i have to adjust my lights my par is at 250 i am having a guy come over next week how high should i make my par my live rock gores about half ay up around 18 to 25 inches from the top of the tank could use some help where i should keep my par just having a tough time getting started if its not onething its another so if you could let me know around what my par should be and my lights i think have to be turned more bluer and more vilot i think just started this about 2yrs ago for my retirerment thanks Gary

Almost all Acropora do well at a PAR between 350-400 in my experience. A few things grow faster or color up differently at higher PAR, and some will survive below 350 PAR, but they usually do not really thrive below 300.

However there aren't too many corals I let grow much over 6" as when they get to that point they grow so fast that they will overtake a TON of space within a year, and they are susceptible to crashing due to insufficient flow.
