Must have been a good interview. How's you answer "What drew you this job?
I need money!

I applied for any role at EPA. Got an invitation to an interview with little warning and was driving to DC to pick my dog up so I just agreed to the interview and did it on the fly.

“It looks very exciting” and other vast generalizations got me past the sticky questions

Unfortunately it's the same with any sump. As sponges/socks/floss start to get dirty they start piling up water behind them this lowering the water in the return chamber. When you remove/replace those filter media components the restrictions are lessened significantly causing the water to flow into the return chamber more readily causing the return chamber level to rise and the filter chambers to lower slightly.

The only sure fire cure for this issue would be to get on a regular maintenance schedule and change/clean filter media more frequently than it needs before it starts restricting flows but who wants to do that???
Glad to see it's not just me, Tim. Oh well, the ATO was just making me lazy anyway.

I didn't even apply for the job I got that got me in the door at my current employer. I actually interviewed next door and my supervisor was sitting on that panel. After the interview he called and invited me to interview with them so I did.

Best answer: What would your supervisor and foremen say if we asked them about you?

Well, Bob would say I'm great, Kirk would say the same, I rarely worked with Tim but I've always done good for him and he seems to like me on his crews, but the other guy - well, his nickname is White Devil so I have no clue.

"I need money" for sure. "This job puts me closer to the one I actually want without the need to create the position for myself." "St. Louis gun violence is more appealing than Baltimore gun violence." "I've heard that the humidity out there is bad and want to compare it to Baltimore."

"Shed say I'm great, I've really come into my own. His humor is dry and may offend people though."

Hey. I’m bored. I’m thinking of some new drama to stir up.
I found some...
Yes I know. But op bought the "live rock from eBay". So the rock's previous owner could have bound the phos. But that would take years of serious neglect and probably a predator tank. When it hits ops new tank the phos would unbind as if it were a 100% water change.

Still I think smart money is testing error until that's ruled out by op.

That’s what I got with my original tank. Got all used rock from the person I bought the tank from and had high phosphates forever.

Speaking of drama and threads going a bit off the rails I’ve gotten in trouble on this forum twice. The first time was on a thread that has been scrubbed from existence. I believe it was something along the lines of “What are the most controversial threads on R2R?” Was that where I met you @tbrown?

Likely. I always try to avoid controversy. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes: But I always like to poke the bear so...
