Dude it’s awesome that you’re doing sps dominant
I still think I prefer euphylia but the aggression plus how touchy they are about flow makes them difficult. At least with SPS you just give them a bunch of flow.
Finally back from weeklong trip. Highlight of the trip was Ireland. Bummed there weren’t more pages to read through here.

It’s certainly been a quiet week on R2R

That’s an interesting approach. I really think both are necessary to really get that feel.

So I got the box for $270. Looking at online prices for frags of these BattleCorals is insane:
Aquatic Man - $200 (BC)
Greg Hiller Aqua Delight - $50 (TSA)
JF Fox Flame - $90 (TG)
Inland Cyclops - $200 (BC)
Shockwave - $90 (BC) - $150 (TSA)
Greg's Unicorn - $150 - $300 (various)
Aquabat - $200 (BC)
PC Rainbow - $85 (TG)
-------------------------------------
Total ~ $1170

I chose the price based on the first result from a seller I knew. Greg's unicorn did not have a seller I knew, so I just looked at the range.

He had a birthday sale last week. It was 46% off to celebrate his 46th birthday. I bought the $500 battle box

See that's the kind of thing I would like notifications about. I suck at games and never win anything, but a amazing deal is something I can get behind!!

I, too, would like some acros. But I have nowhere to put them. Seriously, look what I had to do with my accidental monti anti birdsnest frags:

Yeah, I've got a pile of Birdsnest pieces. They're all growing together into a massive Birdsnest Lattice Colony.

Ok sure, I'll look into that. But, next time they're practically giving away acros, maybe you can let me know??#please

I think this is the first time I’ve bought corals online and not been severely underwhelmed. If you really want a good deal you’d have to visit my LFS. $25 for a regular frag. $45 for a big fully grafted frag like the one I posted earlier which I called “the competition”. I forget what they charge for the big ones but it’s not much. Maybe this is why I always feel ripped off by online purchases.
