Stick with the mysis for now, then when he’s with the big boys and more fish he’ll learn quickly. Mine all do, my Kaleidos is currently in a placid tank yet I bet once he enters the 5 foot with 2 others he’ll learn it’s time to get real :)
Thinking of trying some flashers in the 80gal. Would a P. angulatus and P. cyaneus work in the 4ft tank or is 4ft going to be too small?

i cant think

4 foot is perfect for flashers!
You have the length they love to swim and throw themselves around and well, they’ll truly show off their colours.
My 3, 4? love to throw themselves around my 5 foot tank and the flashers I had in my 4 foot loved it. I hope I can keep my DT until he gets to the size my last one was as he was a brute swimming round the 4 footer.

Anyone remember the female vs male differences in Roseafascia?

I know it was spoken about at some point before I just don’t know when. I think it’s the lancelets tail that means it’s a male which would suggest that goggles is a female. But I’ve also been caught out with the tail as a signifier before.

Awesome. Trying to think of a good pair of flashers. Only two for now. The plan is already packed. Unfortunately a DT is out of budget. And I'd really like to know if the cyaneus would display enough to pull out those blues, or if it'll be red most of the time.

Among flashers, considering two of the following:
P. angulatus
P. cyaneus
P. carpenteri
P. filamentosus
P. lineopunctatus
P. flavianalis

They would be sharing the tank definitely with the following wrasses:
M. bipartitus
P. splendens
C. isosceles
H. chrysus

2x P. ataenia

and non-wrasses:
Exquisite firefish (looking a bit elderly)
Yasha goby
Tailspot blenny (likely getting into golden years, too)

And planning the following wrasses:
M. negrosensis
H. iridis
P. severnsi
C. rhomboidalis
C. exquisitus

Also considering:
C. lubbocki OR C. aurantidorsalis (whichever most peaceful)
C. bathyphilus/efatensis OR C. rubeus
W. nigropinnat
a

And planned non-wrasses:
Siganus unimaculatus
Chelmon rostratus
Synchiropus spendidus

Considering:
Ctenochaetus strigosus OR Ctenochaetus binotatus OR Ctenochaetus tominiensis
Canthigaster valentini

So, with all those fish living in peace and harmony together, what two flashers would be best? P. cyaneus has big appeal since blue is an underrepresented color in the tank (if it really flashes blue a lot). The others I can't imagine which would pair best.

Goggles got absolutely battered in the 5 foot tank so she was moved into the nano and well, she was white yesterday then regained colour and swam normally again. Today she’s still got the colour but when swimming she’s upside down and spinning and when laying down she’s upside down.

Here she was yesterday.

Need help with a stock list common name:

Raspberry fairy wrasse
The only wrasse I've found called a Raspberry Wrasse is the one below - does that look like a match for you? (it has a little yellow/orange on the head and dorsal fin that I can see; screenshot from the video linked below):

That's very cool, but I don't know what the fish actually looked like. I only receive the distributor lists, which most of the time don't contain the scientific names. beautiful fairy, though!
