My LFS wants to show off my tank some more so I figured why not take some photos and do these fish justice!

No need to blast them. Shameful they treat cheaper fish like feeder fish. They wouldn’t be leaving a diamondtail on the table.
Especially Carpenters Flashers, they’re gorgeous fish when happy and bags never do these things justice.

Yay! The severnsi is still alive! Reminds me, I need to check the distributors if they have a small one available...

I have… it’s never a good sign. My Laboute’s was doing this yesterday and when I got home I fished him out unfortunately dead. It’s usually a spinal injury if they’re fine the previous day.
It's been doing it now and then for a few weeks and is still swimming around and eating fine. If you approach the tank while it's doing this it will immediately swim off normally. But it does look very similar to UWND. Maybe a more subtle case. I think he's probably smacked his head against the lid more than once.

I wish that was my Sev, instead it’s the Edwardi :)

I still have hope for the Severnsi as I’ve not seen the Leopard male either.

Does anyone else find that every so often they just look at the hybrid twistii x neoguinaicus that surfaced not too long ago?
I can’t stop loving it, Twistii is a gorgeous wrasse on its own but when mixed with neoguinaicus they’re just stunning.
Here’s my girl.

Sad news for me.

My beautiful blue sided fairy wrasse did not make the cross country move.

I will be looking for a new addition once my tank re-stabilizes.

Question is...do I go back to the same or switch it up? I thoroughly enjoyed it so I'm not opposed to getting another of the same species.

Yeah, that’s a twistii. Although, it seems there’s twistii and a cf. twistii (possibly a subspecies). I can’t figure out if I’ve got the cf or the ‘true’.
The hybrid however is the perfect cross between the two parents.

Oh I was confused. I thought you were asking if we look at your hybrid every so often. And unfortunately your tanks a bit far away and I don’t think you’d want me to sneak in.

Meh. Yours is much nicer. This is a perfect example where more (yellow) is not better.
That’s true, the yellow doesnt do much to the fish.
I love the bright red eye from the twistii and can’t wait for mine to grow just to see if she gets a deep red eye.

New wrasse alert!!

I already have one and I’m hoping this is a female (if its a male then I believe these guys can revert). But I picked up another Kaleidos Pencil!

Isn’t he just gorgeous? It’ll be interesting to see if pencils can revert as I know Cleaners can.
I know a guy whose had two make Sevs cohabitate nicely so I hope I can keep these two.
