That’s when I first got it. Scary small:

Here it is a few months later. I don’t know if you can tell how much bigger it is.

I didn’t know these were known for being noisy, she’s gorgeous though! Will be interesting to see if these transition as well as other wrasses.

Nosey, not noisy silly. It has a long nose.

Edit: sorry, didn't realize @Slocke already said it. I'm slow.

My tamarin likes to grab food from the surface and it was so noisy I thought my pistol shrimp was back from the dead :face-with-tears-of-joy:
I've walked over to the tank expecting a fish to be flopping on the lid or floor only to find my Starry Blenny and Foxface attacking the auto feeder.

You mean this one?!? He is a dream fish for me but unattainable due to my tank size. I don’t get envious too often, but dang! I hope you give us many pics/videos as he settles in and thrives.

Big Congratulations!

Yes but mine is a late female so still white and black with some red markings. Being very shy right now and I’m letting it recover in the dark till tomorrow morning.

Can someone help me out with if this is a male McCosker wrasse, I see the smallest spike/filament on top so not sure if just transitioning, seems like if male at this size it should have a longer spike ontop? Or can someone drop the ID page link if better.
