Almost a year. Can’t get her to put on weight though which is worrying.
I’m starting to feel that anxiety too. Now that she’s eating frozen I’ve observed she’s a nonstop eating machine, in a frenzy for frozen and always hunting like a Mandarin.

I’ve got my BBS hatchery going 24/7, and ordered phyto/copepod/amphipod culturing equipment for the long term.

Mine eats a ton. I think it might be gut parasites.

That face when you went a little too hard on the brine shrimp and regret your decisions.

Well, I thought why not put algae in for my foxface (yesterday it was foxfaces) and tang.
The first fish to go for it were the wrasses… Not my intention but great to know they eat anything.
First wrasse to the algae was this guy.

My wrasses show this face every day after feeding, I’ll never understand how they manage to be happy with their fat tiny bodies.

New Pseudojuloides edwardi:

He’s gorgeous but dang photos make some wrasse look vastly different to the reality.

One of my dream wrasses compared to a photo;

The green wasn’t hugely vibrant but the red is absolutely stunning.

I wouldn't mix the last two. Pick one.

Same as above. You want variety in your wrasse to avoid fighting. Consider a yellow, radiant, timor, earmuff etc. Those last 4 are too similiar
Thanks for the input @Slocke - to clarify, I’m looking to only add 1 more wrasse to my current stock of 7 fish: whitetail Kole tang, one spot Foxface, 2 Clowns, 2 Bangaii and the Solar Wrasse.

I’m mainly concerned with the compatibility of each of the wrasses listed, including the last 2, with the solar wrasse (which is currently about 4.5 - 5” long). As far as the last 2, I’m also looking to confirm if they’d be ok in a 75g display as they seem to get to a decent size.

Any one of the Halichoeres would be best then aka any of the last 4

Beautiful fish! I'm so used to seeing just your Wrasse collection, I forgot you might have other beauties to look at.

It’s not often I show off my other fish aside from my Fox, Regal Angel and Tilefish. The rest kind of just hang out I love most of them - not a huge fan of the Tang but he serves a purpose. I guess I do mostly show off my wrasses as they are the dominant fish in my tank.
If I had a reason to I’d absolutely show the others off! That regal is my favourite angel I’ve owned so far, her colours are just unbeatable.

I was noticing her, even as she was swimming away. I love those, but my tank isn't big enough

I noticed today that my Mccoskers flasher lost an eye somehow. Any ideas on what it could be? Acting normally and still coming out to eat, quite sad to see to be honest. I don’t notice any bullying from anyone else in the tank

I had a hawkfish do it to a goby and my Thalassoma is an eye plucker of any feeder fish I add. I know you aren’t dumb enough to have a Thalassoma though.
